Various Graphical Designs

These are a collection of different graphic design that I have done here and there.  Most of them are purely impulsive.  Some of them are records of unusual experiences or feelings.    In general, they are records of valuables in my life.

Picture of my wound (Part)

I fell off an opened manhole last year and left this ugly scar on my upper shin.  In China, there is no way I could get any compensation for this unfortunate incident.    I chose to accept it, and made a picture with a computer delete menu to hang on my wall.

My beauty is given by nature, I have no intention to spoil it, but thinking the wound is also part of the nature, I am feeling complete now.
On UN Sports Day

A picture of a UN friend in Tug of War against ILO.  The one stands behind looking anxious is me.  Fun time to remember.
Shell HR Manager

This guy is the one who got me into Shell Oil China 11 years ago.  The picture was sent to him as a gift, to memorize the dancing opera we performed during Shell’s new year party - “Red Lady Army”.  He played the role of Mr. Hong ChangQing, the leader of the Red Lady Army, I played an evil beauty trying to seduce him to surrender to the enemy.
Hainan Sunrise

The original picture was not very nice, taken against the direction of where light comes from.  I did some touch up on the picture so it looks like I am meditating on the Sunrise.  I gave the pic to my best friend, attached a note: “It’s a picture of me, with no face and hardly recognizable, that’s why it’s art.”  I also hang this piece of art on my wall now.
Poster - Ubuntu

I made this poster to memorize the first time I met Mark and worked for his company.  That is something quite significant to my life in an extended period of time.

Everyone I worked with during that trip was fabulous, and Mark is the best.

Uh Ooh, Ubuntu!
